My Dad Used to Threaten Me - Kwesi Arthur

Multi-talented musician, Kwesi Arthur has revealed on the Day Break Hitz Show on Monday, May 13, 2019 that his father has always been against and threatened not to feed him because of his unique hair style, which he believes is a key brand that makes him unique.

On Monday, May 13, 2019, Andy Dosty, the host of the show interviewed the award winning musician on his show, which is monitored by the atlfmonline.com entertainment news desk. During the discussion, the host commented that he had come up across an article that reiterated the fact that his father is absolutely livid about his hair style. To the dismay of many people, the laid back relaxed rapper confirmed the issue with a laughter saying, ” Yea.. I’ve also come across that story… hehe.. yea.. it’s true. My dad has always been against my hair since I was in Senior High School.”

He further went on to add that there were several times his father had threatened not to provide food or money for him. “ At times, he used to threaten me that if I don’t cut it he won’t give me money to buy food. So I used to cut it at that time like so many times, but now that is what I want.. I want to leave my hair bushy” he hilariously quipped.
Interestingly, it looks like though his father dislikes it, he is not prepared to trim off his hair. When quizzed by the host as to why he would not explain to his father in order for him to gain some comprehension and insight as to why he (Kwesi Arthur) would like to keep his hair in that manner, the “Grind Dey” hit maker was quick to add that he has explained it to him several times, but unfortunately, he is not ready to heed to that instruction. He opined that apart from the fact that he feels insecure trimming his hair because his friends knocked him on the head, his daddy is quite adamant to his views. He thus stated that at one point he would trim it if he felt like doing so. However, he is not ready to trim it off, but he will definitely cut it one day when he feels it is the right time.
Kwesi Arthur was at the studios of Hitz Fm to promote his EP album, LIVE FROM KWAME NKRUMAH KROM, VOL. 2, which is his second EP album.
